Meadow Brook Dairy history is a long, varied, and rich story spanning nine decades, four generations, three states, hundreds of people, and most important, family traditions! Founders, Leroy and Lloyd McGarvey began in the same humble manner as many dairy owners by distributing milk to family and friends. Hard work and sacrifice yielded not only success, but advances in the dairy industry, as well.
By the mid 1970's, Meadow Brook Dairy had become one of the largest and most modern manufacturing, storage, distribution, and laboratory facilities in it's three-state region. No stranger to innovative marketing, Meadow Brook Dairy opened small, neighborhood food stores that would also distribute milk, called Country Fair, in 1965. In 1977, they opened Dudley's Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlors. Traditions, time-honored and new, define Meadow Brook Dairy.
Meadow Brook services the greater Erie, Pennsylvania area and in addition to our processing facility located in Erie, we have distribution centers located in Syracuse, Elmira and LeRoy New York.
